olive oil revisited

my last post was a little one-sided. there was an up side to using olive oil as a moisturizer. here are a few more observations, other than it's tasty:

it did indeed leave my skin baby soft.
recommendation: dilute with water (try 1:1) before slathering it on.
a little big goes a long way, so just mix up a tsp. or so (if you make it fresh each time).
it does not leave your skin feeling greasy.
note: the pores on your face and hands are smaller, so while it'll soak in almost immediately over the rest of your body, it'll take 10-15 minutes for your face and hands to make the transition from a glossy to satin finish.
this is more of a heavy duty treatment; good for wintertime.
